APW - Rockford, 15J marked as "15 Ruby," Model 2, 18S, approximately 10K gold (tested) gold HC, gold cuvette, white enamel DS dial, white enamel DS dial, transitional style SW-LS with retained KW arbor, gold jewel settings, nickel damascene, s#58601. Gross weight of assembled watch 82.9 dwt (129.1 g). Very rare and nicely finished high grade Model 2 movement, this example features a very attractive nickel damascene. CONDITION:
Mvt: Running though with some escapement noise when in dial up position, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous surfaces, some spots to plates with the most notable being near the "Adjusted" marking, near the "Co" marking of factory signature, and to edge of barrel bridge near the "Ill" marking; dial with edge chip near 12, substantial beveling wear fully around perimeter, some surface nicks around minute chapter between 12 and 1:30; fine hands, minute with portions of finish loss; case shows ample wear, ding to right perimeter of rear, small shallow mild ding to lower left of rear, greatly reduced engraving detail, no engine turning detail remaining, plugged hole to lower reverse of pendant; tight bow, replacement crown of somewhat larger dimension than appropriate shows very little wear and has some side-to-side play to smaller diameter pendant; good glass crystal.
